When an online entity calls you Stephen Glass and anti-American and “just another left wing dirt bag spewing liberal vomit out of his warped commie brain”; you respond, defend your work with all you’ve got and still get called “a piece of chit.” Then you go back and defend yourself some more because a journalist only has his credibility and I value mine, often it’s all I had. And finally after about two years, like Diogenes, I come across an utterly decent and honest man
